This antique glass perfume bottle is a collectible piece with a bold design. It is made of hand-blown glass and carefully cut crystal. It features three layers of glass, cut using the "sandwich glass" technique to create a decorative pattern. This type of glasswork is rare for a perfume bottle in this condition.
It has its original glass stopper, richly detailed, which fits perfectly and is covered with a hinged lid in silver, adorned with a floral design. A pattern of flowers and leaves is present on the lid as well as around the silver ring of the bottle. The engraving on the silver is particularly beautiful. Without a hallmark, the lid is made of silver sterling. This is a fine example of Bohemian glassware from the 1880s, with a mysterious decoration in white, salmon pink, and clear glass, almost reminiscent of a stained glass window. The bottle measures 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches and is perfectly suited for a luxurious perfume.
