Elegant and intricately detailed vintage Tiffany & Co. Amethyst "X" cross earrings, crafted in 18k yellow gold.
The pear-shaped amethysts measure 13 mm x 8 mm. They are in very good condition and free of cracks and chips.
These iconic cross earrings feature removable amethyst drops. These versatile earrings can be worn as studs or with the amethyst drops for a glamorous look. Measuring 1" x 0.5" (2.5 cm x 1.27 cm), they are perfect for day or evening wear. They feature posts and double-hinged omega clasps for pierced ears. These earrings have been discontinued and have not been manufactured by Tiffany & Co. since the 1990s.
The earrings are in very good original condition and have recently been lightly cleaned and polished.
