This is an incredible Victorian Taille d'Epargne ring made with 18kt yellow gold, diamonds, and black enamel.
This ring is a size 8 and has sizing balls along the band's interior to prevent the ring from spinning. Although this piece is not marked I have tested it as 18kt gold.
The diamonds are elevated by carriages and protrude out from the face of the ring. This ring is detailed throughout with fine engravings—all of which were done by hand. This piece contains eight old mine cut diamonds and a single round brilliant cut diamond at the center. The old mine cut diamonds are all approximately 3.20mm in size while the single round brilliant diamond is approximately 3.60mm in size. The diamonds have an approximate combined weight of 1.26 carats. This piece weighs approximately 16.00 grams.
