This articulated pendant is shaped like the head of a fish, appearing to be hooked onto the bail, as if on a fishing hook. The face features large eyes in deep blue enamel and a wide open mouth. Beneath the head is the fish's skeleton, with bright green enamel details that draw the eye to the articulated movement of the pendant. The skeleton ends in a tail, enameled in vibrant blues and greens in a scale-like gradient. Due to the large size of its head, the fish has a prehistoric quality. The pendant is massive and faceted, and is a striking example of the vintage motifs popular in the 1960s and 1970s. It can accommodate a thicker chain and can be worn high at the base of the neck or lower on the chest.
A fishbone skeleton symbolizes transformation, rebirth, and evolution. It can be worn as a symbol of personal growth and the ability to evolve and change.
