History and origin
From the lands of Mozambique, this natural gemstone belongs to the family of copper-bearing tourmalines, a variety prized worldwide for its rarity and vibrant color. Artisanally extracted from the Mavuco mine on May 12, 2024 under the responsibility of L. Martin, this piece has a fine weight of 1.315 carats. It was rigorously selected for its transparent clarity, offering a crystalline purity that enhances its blue-green shades.
The art of cutting: the fascination of mixed emerald cut
This unique piece, offered as a loose unmounted stone, was fashioned in a mixed emerald cut with precise geometric lines (11.50 x 4.40 x 4.00 mm), under the direction and creative responsibility of Sabadie. The work was meticulously carried out by the cutter artisan M. Sainul to balance the refraction of light.
Workshop note: this stone presents a natural inclusion preserved on the surface of the pavilion, an authentic testimony to its wild origin and raw character, preserved during cutting.
