Following in the footsteps of his father Jean Vendome (1930-2017), Thierry Vendome perpetuates contemporary jewelry creation by "breaking the rules" by combining gems and unusual materials. If Jean Vendome made organic materials such as dinosaur bone interact with stones, his son seeks harmony between minerals, precious metals and oxidized matter. From the "Fleurs intimes" collection of 2005, this transformable, impressive and sculptural brooch illustrates Thierry Vendome's taste for the game of associations/dissociations: the dialogue between the rust from disused military training bases, the finesse of gold and the warmth of a Brazilian citrine, also offers the freedom to wear one or more pieces, according to convenience.
