This substantial Tank ring was created in the 1930s and 1940s, at a time when jewelry aesthetics drew inspiration from industrial power, mechanics, and the architecture of modern cities. Inspirations taken from tank armor, riveted bridge structures, and the geometric rhythm of machines were directly translated into its form. The wide and heavy band, along with the imposing, almost architectural head, create a composition with a character that is both utilitarian and luxurious.
The central stone is set in a square bezel with distinct millegrain, typical of the transition between Art Deco and emerging modernism.
