Syna necklace in 18-carat gold, composed of luminous tourmaline beads in a palette of colors, assembled with hand-twisted wirework. The polished tourmaline cabochons are well matched and display excellent clarity, with very few inclusions.
The stones exhibit many shades, including powder pink, violet, mint green, lemon green, olive green, and sought-after blue hues reminiscent of indicolite. Despite the variety, the colors remain close in tone, creating a harmonious and balanced piece.
The craftsmanship is artisanal and demanding: each cabochon is drilled and then strung by hand with a gold wire, individually twisted after each bead (“hand-wiring” setting).
Length of 34.25” allowing for varied wear; can also be worn as a bracelet.
Syna was founded in 2003 and has created jewelry for Paloma Picasso, Tiffany & Co. and Bulgari, before evolving into a renowned maison jewelry house. Many of its pieces revolve around colored cabochons.
