This 14K gold arrow is adorned with a luminous dark green tourmaline. This signature piece was inspired by the arrows of Saint Sebastian's martyrdom. An emblematic figure, he was condemned to death by the Roman emperor Diocletian. He was persecuted and pierced by several arrows, but survived.
The strength embodied by Sebastian inspired the selection of a luminous tourmaline for the tip of the arrow, a stone to which energizing properties are attributed, as well as increasing courage, reducing fear, and boosting self-confidence.
The specially-cut forest green stone has a total weight of 1.75 ct and is set at the tip of the arrow pendant, in a custom setting. The arrow measures 1-3/4 inches in length. The pendant is sold separately from the chain. The pendant weighs a total of 5.5 g.
