Antique pendant, locket with a compartment for a photo of a loved one.
Made of 14-carat yellow gold, fineness 585/1000, and decorated with blue guilloché enamel with an additional floral motif in gold and a rose-cut diamond.
Guilloché enamel is a decorative technique used in luxury jewelry at the beginning of the 20th century. It consists of covering engraved metal with transparent enamel, creating depth and brilliance. It was particularly popular in luxury jewelry and watchmaking, notably with Peter Carl Fabergé.
