Daisy sapphire pendant in 18 ct yellow gold, centered on a natural oval-cut sapphire, claw-set in yellow gold, weighing approximately 0.85 ct. It is surrounded by a row of twelve old-cut round diamonds, totaling approximately 0.80 ct.
The bail, discreetly integrated into the composition, is highlighted by an additional old-cut diamond that ensures the transition between the pendant and the chain.
The whole adopts the classic form known as a "Daisy" or "pompadour," designed to showcase the central stone through the contrast between the color of the gems and the brilliance of the diamonds. The setting work, entirely done by hand, reflects the jewelry-making practices of the late 19th century.
Work from the second half of the 19th century. The bail is more recent.

The sapphire displays a deep blue color, rich and even. A few slight abrasions visible on the table attest to its age and long life worn. They remain discreet and do not affect the appearance of the stone or its chromatic intensity.
The old-cut diamonds retain a beautiful presence. As is often the case with stones that have lasted more than a century, some show small abrasions or slight edge chips. These signs of wear are consistent with the period of the jewel and affect neither the security of the settings nor the overall balance of the piece.
The Daisy sapphire pendant retains a fine delicacy of execution. Its light weight and harmonious proportions allow for elegant wear, whether on a fine chain or in a layering of antique jewelry.
