Exceptional Demie - Transformation set including a Necklace and a large Clip Brooch that can be worn as a pendant in platinum (950 thousandths) and 18K yellow gold (750 thousandths).
The necklace is made up of small articulated rectangular links and is decorated with a ratchet clasp with safety figure eight. The brooch with an openwork volute pattern adorned with a pavement of thirty-four old-cut diamonds bordered by twenty-four smaller 8/8-cut diamonds, holding six gold flakes in its center.
French work from the 1940s. Maker's mark difficult to read.
Total weight of diamonds: approximately 3 carats. Total gross weight: 49.1 g. Length of the necklace: approximately 40 cm. Dimensions of the brooch: approximately 6.5 x 3.5 cm.
