Elegant English Victorian pocket watch, branded on the dial by E. Perfitt, from Wymondham, Norfolk. The silver sterling case bears London hallmarks dated 1874, confirming its authenticity and provenance.
The verge escapement movement is gilded and finely hand-engraved, a testament to the craftsmanship of the mid-19th century. The white enamel dial is adorned with black Roman numerals, a seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, and blued steel hands.
This is an interesting example of traditional English watchmaking, combining refined aesthetics and historical mechanics.
