Founded in 1926 in Grenchen, Switzerland, Nivada Grenchen stood out in the 1950s and 1960s for its robust, well-built chronographs, notably the Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver, which remains a benchmark for collectors.
The brand was revived in 2018 with its iconic models, including the Datomaster.
Here we present a vintage Datomaster, reference 79416.
Its distinctive feature: the date at 12 o'clock integrated into the bezel, a distinctive design detail that immediately sets it apart from other chronographs of the period. Sunburst gray dial, two contrasting white subdials with an orange accent on the 45-minute counter at 3 o'clock, central hand and orange seconds hand, luminous tritium baton hour markers.
