An oval green jade plaque rests calmly, almost flush, within a broad yellow gold face with softly rectangular contours. An intense green meets warmly polished yellow gold, without additional ornamentation.
Style and period: the ring’s broad geometric face with rounded corners, the flush-set jade, and the focus on large, restrained forms are characteristic of Mid-Century jewelry from the 1960s and the transition into the early 1970s.
