Overview:
Stylish vintage amethyst & diamond cocktail ring (circa 1950s to 1960s) crafted in 18 karat white gold.
Oval faceted amethyst measures 19mm x 13mm (estimated at 10 carats), accented with an estimated 0.50 carats of diamonds (estimated at IJ color and VS2-SI2 clarity). Note: few light surface abrasions to the amethyst (visible under a 10x magnifying glass).
Intentionally oversized, the cocktail ring is designed to draw the eye. The deep royal purple hued amethyst is faceted to catch light and shimmer with your every movement. The medium-rise ring (9mm - 0.35 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
