A finely hatched gold surface provides the setting for an unusually dense diamond arrangement. 49 single-cut diamonds and one larger brilliant-cut diamond at the center diffuse the light across the oval face of the locket.
The textured gold surface and the integrated diamond setting across the entire face place this locket within 20th-century vintage jewelry. Rather than featuring a single dominant stone, the design plays with rhythm, surface, and a finely graduated interplay of light.
Crafted in 585 yellow gold (14 carats). Set with 49 single-cut diamonds, plus 1 larger brilliant-cut diamond as the central stone; total 0.53 ct.
The piece of jewelry has been professionally inspected and carefully restored. The setting, bail, joins, and stone setting were checked for stability and secure condition; the gold surface was carefully cleaned and refreshed without altering the character of the piece.
The oval shape rests harmoniously at the neckline and, at 17.12 g, has a pleasing substance. A simple chain particularly highlights the textured surface and the field of diamonds.

Inside, the locket offers space for a photo or a small keepsake. On the outside, the hatched gold and diamonds combine into an unusual decorative surface.
