18k (750°/°°) Art-Nouveau gold medal composed in its center of a medallion representing the Virgin in a vegetal decoration composed of flowers and foliage as well as an openwork part revealing the message: “Under your eyes, live and grow”.
Medal in the purest Art-Nouveau style of very good quality, French work around 1900.
The medal is hallmarked with an eagle's head for 18 carat gold and there is a trace of the manufacturer's hallmark, the second part of which has a star at the bottom and a C as the second letter. The medal is branded at the bottom right.
Excellent general condition, tiny scratches from use, the medal is engraved on the back but can be degraved on request
