The Victorian era made the motif of the moon and star very popular, with celestial jewelry being in fashion in the 19th century. This imagery has never lost its popularity and can be found on this Me & Ro necklace in 18k gold.
The necklace features a crescent moon-shaped pendant as its central element, suspended from a delicate belcher link chain. One inch above the moon, a gold star is integrated into the chain on one side of the necklace, bringing asymmetry to the piece. The moon and star are adorned with a lovely paisley pattern that adds a soft and feminine touch to the surface of the matte gold.
The necklace was crafted by Me & Ro, a New York-based jewelry brand known for its spiritual symbolism and Eastern influences. Often incorporating images such as lotus flowers and Sanskrit inscriptions, Me & Ro jewelry is rich in meaning and can be worn as philosophical talismans.
