Longines Ultra-Chron automatic (1970s) in 18-carat gold, recently serviced (12-month warranty), with original box.
Rare and sought after, this Longines Ultra-Chron embodies the technical excellence of the manufacture at the end of the 1960s.
Equipped with a high-frequency movement (36,000 vibrations/hour), the Ultra-Chron caliber 431 range was among the most accurate watches of its time. This high cadence improves running stability and demonstrates Longines' watchmaking expertise during the golden age of Swiss mechanics.
Cushion-shaped case in 18-carat yellow gold (33 x 33 mm) with very modern proportions, featuring a hue oscillating between yellow gold and a slight pinkish tint.
Remarkable condition: edges still sharp, surfaces even, very few marks. Case back and bezel nearly perfect.
The original silver dial is exceptional: sunburst finish intact, applied indexes immaculate, logo and Ultra-Chron inscription perfectly defined. No visible oxidation. Hands consistent and well preserved. New plexiglass crystal.
Freshly serviced automatic movement with 12-month warranty: optimal operation, ready to wear, no costs to anticipate.
Fitted with a new custom-made lizard strap by ABP Concept Paris, elegant and perfectly suited to the piece.
