This elegant reference belongs to the Odysseus collection, developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre at the turn of the 1990s, a period during which the manufacture successfully combined classical elegance, refined complications, and exemplary build quality.
Its 18-carat gold case stands out for a particularly sophisticated construction. The yellow gold case band is highlighted by a fine peripheral rose gold strip that subtly frames the case and brings depth, contrast, and refinement to the whole. This discreet yet remarkable detail gives this Odysseus a distinctive personality within the manufacture's production.
The white enamel dial is one of the main attractions of this reference. Exceptionally legible, it features a three-register chronograph, a moon phase at 12 o'clock, a date display at 4:30, as well as a pulsometer scale graduated for 30 pulsations, a complication historically intended for the rapid measurement of heart rate.
The applied gold hour markers and elegant sword-style hands contribute to the overall aesthetic balance, while the blued central chronograph hand adds a particularly successful touch of contrast.
