History and origin
Extracted from the precious soils of Cameroon through ethical artisanal mining supervised by L. Martin, this natural garnet is a pure mineral marvel. Coming from the highly sought-after rhodolite variety, this specimen displays an ideal weight of 2.20 carats. It was rigorously selected for its perfect transparent clarity and, above all, for its vibrant intense pink color, which beautifully shifts between raspberry red and deep purple flashes under the light.
The art of cutting: the “SW2” precision cut
This gemstone was cut on November 6, 2024 according to the SW2 cut (mixed oval). Enhanced by lapidary artisan L. Sabadie, this signature cut features balanced dimensions of 6.54 x 8.43 x 4.77 mm. The surgical work on the crown and pavilion facets was designed to break light in an optimal way, offering continuous inner fire that eliminates any area of extinction.
