Originating from the rich lands of Cameroon, this natural gemstone belongs to the garnet family and stands out for its almandine variety. Extracted on June 20, 2023, from the Kadei mine using a traditional alluvial method, under the responsibility of mine manager L. Martin, this piece displays a deep hue. Weighing 5.35 carats, it offers transparent clarity that highlights the richness of its very dark red/brown color.
This piece was fashioned in a mixed oval cut with harmonious proportions (13.24 x 10.0 x 5.59 mm), crafted by cutter M. Sainul under the direction and responsibility of L. Sabadie. The faceting was executed to enhance the depth of its color and ensure optimal light reflection.
