Georgian Revival style earrings, inspired by Giardinetti jewelry popular during the Georgian era. The term Giardinetti, meaning "little garden" in Italian, appeared in the 17th century and remained popular throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Giardinetti motifs feature floral themes (bouquets, wreaths), as seen on these earrings.
Table-cut rubies and emeralds are bezel-set on silver sterling, arranged to suggest two red flowers connected to a stem with green leaves. A baroque pearl hangs from the bottom of each earring. The earrings have a lovely movement when worn.
