Stylish vintage Buccellati medallion pendant, crafted in sterling silver.
The medallion features a stylized bird in red enamel, framed with a red border. The medium sized oval medallion makes a statement and is ideal worn alone as a standout piece or layered.
Mario Buccellati was known as the 'Prince of Goldsmith's' for his handcrafted pieces with intricate patterns and engravings in both gold and silver. Today Buccellati's brand is led by his son Gianmaria and his grandson Andrea.
The pendant is in good original condition with light surface abrasions evident to the front and back. The pendant was recently lightly cleaned and polished. Also included is the Buccellati travel pouch.
Size & Measurements: The pendant measures 1 1/4 x 1 inches (excluding the bale).
Metal & Hallmark: Sterling silver. The pendant is hallmarked 'Gianmaria Buccellati' and "Italy" in addition to "925" for sterling silver.
