Essex reverse-painted crystal objects are crafted using a meticulous technique that involves engraving the back of the crystal and then delicately painting an image to create a three-dimensional effect within the stone.
On this charm, a wild turkey flies over a grassy field. The bird features beautiful details in the wings, with each feather engraved and painted in rich brown tones. The crystal is backed with mother-of-pearl, adding an extra layer of luminous shine.
This charm was converted from Cufflinks Edwardian pieces, circa 1910. Not hallmarked, but in 18K gold.
