This beautiful 14k gold Edwardian harem ring contains an array of Rose Cut diamonds, pearls, sapphires, rubies, and green demantoid garnets. The ring consists of five 14k gold bands, held together at the bottom in a half-hoop that connects the bands and makes them easy to wear. The stones are bezel set in a tulip bezel, with the exception of the diamonds, which are beadset into the band. The silver has an excellent patina that offsets the stones against the silver tarnish.
The ring contains 24 Rose Cut diamonds, measuring 1mm each. There are 2 rubies (2.5 mm), 4 sapphires (2.25 mm), 3 pearls (2.25 mm) and 4 demantoid garnets (an apple-green colored stone from Russia, 2.25 mm each).
Circa 1900. The ring is unmarked and tests as 14k gold. The ring weighs 4.87 grams. The gemstone grid measures 3/4” x 1/2”.
