This braided gold necklace features an adjustable cross-over clasp in the shape of a loop. It is a Victorian revival style piece dating from the 1950s, with the same attention to detail as Victorian pieces.
The necklace measures 5/8" thick and is made of flexible braided gold that fits smoothly around the neck. Its total length is 19 1/2", from end to end, including the tassels. The part that goes around the neck is adjustable up to a maximum of 16".
The clasp opens and closes, allowing for adjustment with a sliding locking system. The loop, adorned with black enamel details, provides a beautiful accent. The necklace ends with two flat tassels, adding a lovely movement to the piece. The back is personalized with the inscription 12.25.57. Weight: 54.5 g. Stamped 14K. In excellent condition.
