This stylized flower-shaped pendant features all the classic lines and nuances of Mid-Century Modern jewelry. The center is a five-petaled white gold flower, with a diamond in each petal, all bead-set to add a subtle touch of sparkle. Behind the flower extend yellow gold shapes, similar to torpedoes, creating a beautiful organic floral form. The pendant has a pleasing weight when worn. It is suspended from a 14 3/4-inch chain. The shorter chain suits a slimmer neck and layers perfectly as the top necklace in a stack. The pendant shows beautiful details: each diamond is held in a delicately openworked setting, with exquisite craftsmanship. This is a great classic of the 1950s.
The necklace contains five natural single-cut diamonds, each measuring 1.5 mm.
The pendant measures 3/4 inch wide. The chain measures 14 3/4 inches long and 1.25 mm thick. The necklace weighs 5.6 g. French eagle head hallmark on the clasp and the last ring, as well as a maker's mark.
