Neglected 19th-century Antillean necklace in 18-carat yellow gold
Antique 18-carat yellow gold (750/1000) “négligé” necklace, stamped with the eagle’s head hallmark. Regional French work from the Antilles, 19th century.
The central part is adorned with two movable pendants held by a fine round curb-link chain Link. One ends in a smooth hollow sphere and the other in a fluted and beaded “cabbage” motif. It is completed by a half-“cabbage” drop. The necklace is a square-section fox-tail chain Link, embellished with seven gold beads and a rectangular box clasp.

- Diameter of the largest cabbage motif: 1.24 cm
- Total weight: 6.14 g
- Condition: very good, with a few minimal signs of wear. This collector’s necklace is complete with its original chain and clasp.
