Bold & distinct vintage cocktail ring (circa 1990s), crafted in 18 karat yellow gold.
Cabochon cut citrine measures approx. 15mm x 12mm. Cabochon cut sapphires measure 4mm x 2.5mm. Diamonds total an estimated 0.20 carats (estimated at IJ color and SI1-I1 clarity). The citrine is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips (light surface abrasions visible under a 10x magnifying glass).
The bold ring highlights a beautiful luminous cabochon cut citrine with a golden glow. Small pear cut cabochon sapphires accent the mount and add a unique color contrast to the citrine. Small diamonds add a touch of sparkle. The cocktail ring makes a great statement on the hand. Weighing a heavy 16.4 grams, the ring has a solid, hefty feel on the hand. The medium rise ring (11mm - 0.43 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
