Chopard Happy Diamonds - 18-carat gold necklace and 3.0 ct diamonds

This exceptional necklace Chopard is more than a piece of jewelry: it is a unique piece. Custom-made in 1988 for a client, it combines distinguished goldsmithing expertise with the iconic design Happy Diamonds.

The necklace dates from the end of the 20th century. In the 1980s, Chopard managed to blend elegant lines with luxurious opulence. As a piece from the Happy Diamonds universe, the pendant features the characteristic lightness of freely moving diamonds, which dance between sapphire glasses.

Made of solid 18-carat gold and set with a variety of diamonds:

• 24 brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling 1.45 ct
• 20 mobile brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling 1.12 ct, color grade FC
• 15 brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling 0.15 ct, color grade FC
• 1 central brilliant-cut diamond, 0.25 ct, color grade FC

Each stone has been precisely set, whether fixed or freely moving. The different sizes provide depth, expression, and a luxurious brilliance.

The necklace has been carefully cleaned and inspected in our workshop. The structure is remarkably well preserved; the craftsmanship is substantial, of high quality, and typical of custom-made Chopard pieces from that era. The gold surfaces have been gently refreshed, without altering the historical integrity.

This necklace is a piece of character, pleasant to wear and well balanced.
