In 1976, Cartier launched the Must line: a Tank in silver-gilt, made of silver covered in gold, to make the DNA of the Maison accessible to a new generation.
The first Must models by Cartier were offered with bold red, blue, and black colored dials, without numerals. Only the “Must de Cartier” logo and the blue hands are visible, in order to differentiate these models from the solid gold versions.
This reference 3003578 stands out for its lemon-yellow lacquered dial, one of the rarest and most sought-after colors in the Must line.
It is powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement based on an ultra-thin ETA caliber, whose slimness perfectly matches the thickness of the case.
The blue sword hands, against this lemon-yellow background, create a monochrome ensemble of perfect elegance. The silver-gilt case, 925 silver covered in yellow gold, is in a very well-preserved condition.
