Important ring Bulgari Trombino emeralds and diamonds, circa the 1970s, made in Rome.
Ring Bulgari in 18k yellow gold, set with three cabochon emeralds (total weight 3.06, weight engraved inside the band), accompanied by two baguette-cut diamonds on each side and colorless pavé-set diamonds (total weight 3 carats). branded Bulgari, stamped Made in Italy, circa 1970.
The Trombino (translated as "little trumpet") is one of the most successful and enduring models of Bulgari. The first model was created for Mr. Bulgari's wife in the early 1930s and became immediately popular, as it allowed the stone to stand out. The shank of the Trombino ring was a wide band pavé-set with diamonds, tapering to a horizontal line of baguette-cut diamonds. Throughout the history of Bulgari, a few Trombino rings have been made, always with beautiful stones and sometimes also with diamonds, like this one. The ring is accompanied by the original heritage certificate Bulgari and its box.
