1940s brooch in 18k yellow gold and platinum, depicting a long stylized leaf curled around itself. The curled part is set with old-cut diamonds, the rest of the leaf being rendered in smooth gold, playing on the contrast of texture and light between the metal and the stone.

1940s brooch in very good overall condition. Minor surface scratches from use, with no impact on the appearance. Pin clasp system with push button, in good working condition.
The old-cut diamonds, mainly cushion-shaped, display a fairly irregular cut, inclusions, and some more pronounced tints — characteristics typical of stones from this period, with no chips or loss of material.
