Elegant antique brooch in 18-carat yellow gold (750/1000), adorned with a finely carved cameo depicting a female profile in the antique style, inspired by neoclassical aesthetics.
The cameo, made from natural shell, features delicate relief work highlighting a face with fine features, framed by wavy hair embellished with flowers. The contrast between the brown-orange background and the ivory-toned relief emphasizes the quality of the carving.
The gold setting is enhanced by an elegant twisted border, typical of productions from the second half of the 19th century. The reverse is fitted with a hinged clasp and C-hook fastening system, characteristic of antique jewelry.
