Vintage bar brooch circa 1930, designed as a small naturalistic insect resting on a fine gold pin. Its baroque pearl body gives the jewel a soft, lifelike irregularity, while its rose-cut diamond wings and a ruby-colored detail add a subtle sparkle. Although made during the interwar period, it retains the delicate spirit of insect jewels from the late Victorian and Edwardian eras.

- Style: naturalistic interwar jewel. Although made around 1930, this charming little bar brooch does not follow the strict geometric language generally associated with Art Deco. Its insect motif, pearl body, rose-cut diamond wings, and colored stone detail belong instead to the naturalistic tradition particularly appreciated at the end of the Victorian era and during the Edwardian era, still present in jewelry creation during the interwar period.
