Pierrot charm Art Deco sapphires and diamonds
Rectangular pendant in platinum (hallmark: dog's head), decorated with a character representing Pierrot the moon and the number 13.
The charm is entirely paved with rose-cut and 8x8 diamonds, calibrated blue sapphires, and a ruby.
Total weight of diamonds estimated at approximately 0.20 Ct.

It belongs to the Commedia dell'arte, a popular theater where each character has typical physical and moral characteristics, such as Polichinelle the hunchback with the hooked nose, Harlequin in the colorful costume, Scaramouche the boastful and cowardly dressed all in black, or even Columbine the cunning servant in white apron. Pierrot the Moon embodies the romantic and mischievous dreamer with a white face and costume.
