Among the great names in Swiss chronographs, Breitling holds a special place. Long before the arrival of modern chronographs, the Geneva manufacture was already producing timekeeping instruments that combined precision, elegance, and legibility.
This Breitling Genève immediately charms with the balance of its bi-compax dial. The colored tachymeter and telemeter scales add depth and character to the whole, while the dial’s creamy patina further enhances its vintage appeal.
Inside is a remarkable hand-wound Venus 178 caliber. Considered one of the great post-war chronograph movements, it powered some of the finest Swiss productions of its time and remains particularly prized today by collectors for its build quality and robustness.
