Large articulated bracelet in textured 18K gold, composed of linked segments worked in geometric openwork. The structure is sculptural rather than purely ornamental: each segment reads as a small relief in its own right, with the gold worked into fluid, organic cells rather than the regular grids of a more conventional openwork construction. The overall effect evokes coral, lichen, or mineral growth more than a mechanical motif — a deliberately handcrafted language characteristic of mid-20th-century studio goldsmithing.
In certain cells, round cabochon emeralds are set as accents; their saturated green creates concentrated points of color along the entire length of the bracelet, distributed according to a deliberate but irregular rhythm rather than a strictly ordered placement. The contrast between the dense, textured gold and the smooth, polished cabochons enhances both: the gold appears richer in texture, the emeralds clearer and more luminous in color.
With a length of 17.5 cm and a gross weight of 32.5 g, the bracelet has a substantial and generous presence on the wrist.
