Finely chiseled bracelet with interlacing snakes in 14kt yellow gold, adorned in a cannetille setting of malachite, an emerald, weighing approximately 1.00 Ct, an amethyst, turquoise, and quartz.

Jewel called acrostic: the first letters of each stone here form the word "maesta": M for Malachia (malachite), A for Ametista (amethyst), E for Esmeraldo (emerald), S for pietra del Sole (meaning stone of the sun: most certainly the generic term of the time for semi-transparent stones with orange micro inclusions), T for Turchese (turquoise), A for Agata (most certainly the generic term of the time for any semi-transparent stone in these pale shades) .
Maesta means Majesty in Italian, and also refers to a representation of the Virgin and Child (in majesty).
It is therefore most certainly a religious jewel.
Emerald certified as natural and of Colombian origin (Carat Gem Lab Paris certificate) with minor impregnation noted.
