Lever earrings in 18kt pink gold (hallmark: horse's head) decorated with rose-cut Perpignan garnets and mounted on a paillon.
French work, from the Perpignan region, second part of the 19th century.

Condition: very slight micro scratches, dents, gaps and oxidation on the gold parts, some slight shocks on the edges of the garnets, see photos.
If the dark red color, called pyrope garnet, is the most represented, garnet exists in many shades: green-yellow it is called demantoid, green – tsavorite, orange – spessartite and hessonite, purplish – almandine.
The pink hue of the stones is particularly highlighted here by the rose gold setting.
