Rare Georgian 14-carat gold earrings, fully set with rose-cut diamonds, in the shape of flowers.
These raised floral earrings from the Georgian period were made in the second half of the 18th century, around 1780. The 1780s were a time of great upheaval in Europe, marking the beginning of modern philosophy, and are generally considered a turning point between the Age of Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution.
