Boucheron Reflet - 18k yellow gold and diamond watch

Wristwatch Boucheron “Reflet” of rectangular shape, in 18k yellow gold and diamonds, complete set with seven interchangeable straps.

The case, with vertical gadroons characteristic of the model, measures 35.5 × 23.5 mm. The square dial, with a golden background, features golden hands without hour markers, known as a “blind dial,” for a clean readability. Quatre double lines of brilliant-cut diamonds frame the dial. The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire. The crown is set with a sapphire cabochon, a distinctive detail of the model. Quartz movement, hours and minutes functions. Screw-down closed caseback, branded Boucheron and numbered on the back. Dial branded.

Strap with an invisible interchangeable system, specific to the Reflet model. The watch is accompanied by seven interchangeable straps:

• A four-row cultured pearl bracelet, alternating with yellow gold bars, branded, with maker’s mark and serial number.
• Six precious leather straps: ostrich, python, lizard, and crocodile, in blue, red, purple, gray, green, and brown, all branded Boucheron.

Condition:

This Boucheron Reflet watch is in very good overall working condition. A few micro-scratches on the case and dial, inevitable on a piece intended for use: they attest to a worn watch, not a neglected one. A few micro-marks visible inside the dial, with no impact on readability.

The interchangeable straps, including the pearl bracelet, are in new condition. Only the red strap shows a slight defect. The strap attachment system, in which the straps slide in and lock directly against the case, works perfectly.

What makes this example notable: it is a complete set, with case, outer box, and dated certificate, accompanied by seven straps all branded, including six unworn precious leather straps. This level of completeness has become rare on the secondary market for this model. The 35.5 mm version with gold dial and diamonds represents the boldest format in the Reflet line. Retail prices range between €12,000 and €16,000 depending on the size of the model and whether or not it includes diamonds.
