A ring like a small work of art.
This exceptional ring from maison Boucheron combines a sculptural shape with a fascinating dynamic of colors. Crafted in 18-carat white gold, it features in the center a striking cat’s eye quartz cabochon measuring approximately 12.0 x 13.6 x 7.5 mm (approx. 12.0 ct). The silky shimmer of the so-called “chatoyance” effect (a streak of light moving across the surface) gives the stone an almost living presence.
The quartz is framed by about 80 brilliant demantoid garnets (approx. 3.20 ct). This rare and sought-after variety stands out for its intense, fresh green color and exceptional brilliance. Demantoids are among the most precious garnets.
The pavé-set stones embrace the center and give the ring a strong architectural presence. The design is both modern and classic, typical of Boucheron.
The ring is branded “Boucheron”, numbered and bears the French hallmark as well as the 750 gold hallmark.
