The large clear rock crystal rests like a luminous body in a broadly structured gold setting. The facets and rhythmic openwork of the gold create shifting reflections depending on the viewing angle.
The powerful floral form, graphically simplified, and the raised cup-shaped setting are typical of jewelry design from the 1970s. Organic motifs are interpreted here in a bold and geometric way, a characteristic combination of that period.

The ring head, measuring approx. 17 mm, has a striking presence while remaining balanced thanks to its height of approx. 7.2 mm. Worn on its own, the unusual setting is shown to particularly good advantage.
The setting itself forms an essential part of the design. The open and polished segments create their own rhythm around the rock crystal.
A jewelry passport with the technical characteristics of the piece accompanies this jewel. Clean with a soft cloth and, if necessary, with lukewarm water, a mild natural soap, and a soft brush. For antique settings and delicate stones, it is preferable to avoid ultrasonic cleaning whenever possible.
