Two stones, one encounter. The Toi-et-Moi style tells of closeness without merging: two main diamonds facing each other, each flanked by three small brilliant-cut diamonds that catch and reflect the light. A ring that does not demand attention, but deserves it. The curved and romantic line, as well as the warm tone of yellow gold, reveal work done with sensitivity.
The Toi-et-Moi style (“Toi & Moi”) finds its roots at the end of the 18th century and reached its peak during the Romantic period and the early 20th century. Two stones symbolize two souls meeting. This ring is stylistically dated between the 1930s and 1950s. Vintage, not antique, but with the soul of a bygone era.
Made in 14-carat yellow gold (585 alloy). The settings of the two main diamonds are in white gold or platinum, a typical contrast that makes the stones appear brighter. Total of 11 diamonds: two main stones, each flanked by three small brilliant-cut diamonds. Total weight: 0.42 ct. Each stone has been set by hand. The ring head measures 9 mm wide. Weight: 3.25 g.
