This Georgian diamond ring, circa 1830, features rose-cut diamonds set on foil, with the dark, intimate sparkle characteristic of jewelry from the early 19th century. The warm yellow gold band joins a detailed silver head, adorned with seven natural diamonds arranged with discreet symmetry and antique charm. It is very likely of Belgian origin and is a delicate testimony to the Georgian period.

Its name refers to the first four British monarchs of the maison of Hanover — George I of Great Britain, George II of Great Britain, George III of the United Kingdom, and George IV of the United Kingdom — who reigned successively from August 1714 to June 1830.
