Dating from around 1915, this Edwardian diamond ring combines the warmth of yellow gold with a delicate openwork panel set in platinum. An old European-cut diamond forms the center, surrounded by 64 rose-cut diamonds and senailles arranged in a geometric lace-like pattern. Fine millegrain edges enhance the airy effect, while the openwork shoulders and small diamond accents give the ring an elegant lightness typical of the period.
