1950s diamond ring in 18k white gold, centered with a round brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.55 ct. The stone is set in an illusion setting, a technique characteristic of the mid-20th century consisting of placing the diamond above a faceted corolla in precious metal in order to visually enhance its diameter and the diffusion of light.
